They’re at it again. Once a year Woodie car enthusiasts gather at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA.

City of Encinitas reduces or eliminates permit fees for solar and other sustainability projects.

Beginning today, the City of Encinitas and EsGil Corporation have joined together to reduce or eliminate permit fees for energy efficiency, photovoltaic solar, solar water heating, electric car chargers and Clean Natural Gas home fueling systems. As part of an effort to promote sustainability, the program will be in place through July 31, 2013.

Equipment prices are way down, plenty of financing is available at low rates, and now permit fees have been waived for basic installations. The cost of going solar in Encinitas has never been lower, so now is the perfect time to contact San Diego County Solar for a free quote.

The Encinitas 5K – 1K Run / Walk will be held at Moonlight Beach this Saturday, May 19. So we are moving our scheduled work party to May 26, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (ok to show up late). We’ll be watering and weeding around our 40 new plants.
